“Kapetyn Dawn,” a short story I started writing on Wednesday, is going to take a while longer than I’d thought to get done – right now it’s at 1,010 of a projected 7,000 words length, and should be ready for beta reading early next week.
The Crossworlds Affair is at 30,000/80,000 words (i.e. right now it’s as long as Independent Flight‘s first draft was) and should be rough draft finished by the end of June.
The novelette The Great Red Strike is at 4,500/8,000 words.
I have a few other miscellaneous projects going, including two short stories for my MFA program, that should be done by mid-July.
Independent Flight is doing pretty well on amazon.com – if you haven’t picked up a copy, maybe you should think about it!
